Announcing Three amg college scholarship opportunities:

Association Management Group believes that education plays a pivotal role in propelling our community toward progress. We recognize the significance of investing in our community, particularly in the younger generation, as they represent our future.

To fulfill this commitment, AMG took the initiative several years ago to establish a scholarship program. This program serves a dual purpose: honoring exceptional individuals who are no longer with us and providing assistance to young individuals as they embark on their educational pursuits. We firmly believe that supporting these individuals in their educational journey is a meaningful way to contribute to the betterment of our community.

All scholarships are 100% funded by AMG, not community association fees or assessments.

Scholarships to Honor Community Members:

To help share our ideas of community with the next generation, AMG is proud to announce a set of scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each, beginning with the 2025/2026 school year. These scholarships honor the memory of individuals who made a difference in the lives of others:

Ron Erickson Scholarship

Ron was a financial planning professional, a big-hearted mentor, and a true friend to many. Ron's dedication to public service and helping others was world class. He was a role model to all who knew him.

Corey Flynt Scholarship

Corey was the son of AMG’s President Dacy Cavicchia and brother to both AMG’s Charlotte Director of Operations, Danielle Rudisill and Special Projects Coordinator, Cassie Kutay-Dadressan. Education held a significant place in Corey's life, and in the face of challenges and obstacles, he displayed unwavering determination, persistently striving to achieve his objectives.

The “People’s Choice” Scholarship, In Honor of AMG Employees

The “People's Choice” Scholarship encourages applicants to reach out to friends, family, and community members to like and share their videos on AMG’s Facebook page. This scholarship fosters community engagement and support, amplifying the voices of participants and highlighting shared values while celebrating individual creativity and showcasing diverse perspectives.

Below are the amazing individuals whom we honor through this scholarship.

Billie Butler

Billie joined our AMG Charlotte office in 1994. For more than 20 years, Billie used her nurturing skills to assist AMG staff members and provide exemplary customer service to AMG community members. She was a kind soul who was loved and respected by all.

Rea Tinsley

Rea was a cherished member of our AMG family for 16 years and was Director of Operations in Greenville. Tragically, she passed away in March 2022 after bravely fighting cancer. She was an extraordinary individual and a remarkable co-worker, known for her exceptional kindness and gentle nature. Rea's absence is deeply felt, and her memory will forever remain a cherished and integral part of our AMG family.

Tommy Badgett

Tommy, who sadly passed away in January 2021, started his journey with AMG in 1994 as a dedicated repairman. Throughout the years, he skillfully grew in his responsibilities, eventually becoming a certified pool operator before his retirement in 2015. Tommy was a valued and long-serving member of the AMG team, a genuinely compassionate individual, and an irreplaceable friend.

the 2024/2025 Scholarship winners:

For the second year in a row, AMG invited scholarship applicants to submit videos sharing what community means to them. Once again, these submissions were heartfelt, insightful, and truly one-of-a-kind. Our applicants beautifully reflected the diversity of our client communities across the Carolinas and highlighted the deep care and commitment local young adults have for the places they call home. We’re incredibly proud of every student who participated!
